Omega Sports and Recovery
"Iron Sharpens Iron"
We believe that no one should go through any sort of pain or dysfunction alone. At Omega Sports + Recovery we want to help you become the best version of yourself and at the same time, you help us constantly evolve into the best version we can be. In this sense, we are constantly sharpening one another, just as "iron sharpens iron".
+ Who are we?
Omega Sports + Recovery was formed because we got tired of the typical Physical Therapy clinic, which focused on multiple patients an hour in order to get the maximum reimbursement from insurance companies. Omega Sports + Recovery is the first cash based physical therapy practice in San Antonio, skipping the hassle and complications of insurance. We formed because you deserve the best care possible, so we dedicate our sessions completely to you! At Omega, we only apply research based approaches to help you end your pain and perform at your highest level.

DR. ALEX NGUYEN PT, DPT, CDNP
Alex was first introduced to physical therapy after seeing a team of physical therapists help his grandma after she fractured her hip. He knew this was what he wanted to do when she turned to him and gave the biggest smile because she was able to walk again. This is the feeling he wants to give back to his clients and help them get back into the game. Alex pursued his passion and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Houston. During his time here, he trained under Board Certified Sports Therapists and Fellows of Manual Therapy at the Memorial Herman Ironman Institute and Methodist Hospital who are the preferred provider for the Houston Texans. He has worked with athletes and triathletes. In his free time he enjoys doing crossfit and being active outdoors.
